The ladies were nice the first couple times I went in. They treated my dog very well and were chatty with me. I enjoyed taking my dog there and they said she was welcome anytime. Then I didn't take her in for 9 months to 1 year, and next time I tried to get her in, I got the recording...the one that says they are scheduling out for current customers and new customers should leave a voice mail to be called back. Well, I guess not bringing my dog in for that span of time meant I was no longer a customer and I never could get anyone to call me back, which I found rude and elitist.
I take my Golden there who has the equivalent of a show coat (thick and long). They do a great job bathing and trimming him. If I need something additional done, like trimming up shorter around his face and neck during the summer, they do a good job with that as well. I know their business has really grown and that if I don't rebook it will probably be awhile before we get back in (same with my hair salon). Rebooking is easy - just tell them you want to and they figure out the dates, print out a reminder card for you and if it doesn't work they will find one that works. Way better than other places in the area!!
They are always so sweet to my little Cavalier, she always comes out smelling and looking amazing. They get her done in no time. They are really nice and knowledgeable about what they are doing, they always answer any question from grooming to treats to anything! I can not think of any other place that can compare around the Brookings area!
